Refunds

Last updated 18 September 2026

Duit Lah is billed in Telegram Stars, in 30 day periods. This is what happens when you want your money back.

Ask, and you get it back

If the bot did not do what you expected, email amirul1998@gmail.com from any account in the group, within 14 days of the charge, and say which group it was for. The Stars go back to the Telegram account that paid.

You do not have to justify it. A family tried a tool, it did not fit, that is a good enough reason.

What a refund does

  • The Stars return to the payer’s Telegram balance, usually within minutes.
  • The subscription ends immediately. A refunded period is not a period you keep using, so the group drops to free limits straight away.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your entire ledger stays exactly where it is. A refund is a downgrade, not an erasure, and everything returns if you subscribe again.

Cancelling is not the same as refunding

Send /mysubs to cancel. That stops the next charge and leaves the period you already paid for running to its end. Telegram does not prorate a partial month, so cancelling on day two of a period does not return twenty-eight days of Stars. If you want the money back rather than the month, ask for a refund instead.

After 14 days

Outside the window, ask anyway. If the bot was broken, mistranscribing badly, or unavailable for a stretch of the period you paid for, that will be refunded. What will not be refunded is a period that worked and simply went unused, since the service was there and running.

Refunds started at Telegram’s end

You can also request a refund through Telegram itself. Be aware that Telegram does not notify the bot when that happens, so the group may keep showing a paid plan until someone next interacts with the billing commands, at which point it reconciles and downgrades. If it does not, email and it will be corrected by hand.
